Dear Mrs. Minnis, (6th grade teacher)
It’s awesome to have you as a teacher. Before school even started I dreaded your class. I honestly hate Math but you make it great. I judged you before I even knew you. Over the year you showed me what’s it like to have a teacher that cares. I walk in your class everyday willing to learn and work, not because I like Math; it’s because you put effort in your job and you do it because you know it.
Love, Meriam Ahmad
Dear Mrs. Basmah,
I am writing this letter to let you know how much I care about Arabic class and you. I wish I could write this letter in Arabic. But inshalallah one day I will! I am so happy to be in your class. I am not exaggerating. I am being 100% honest. I am just in love with you and your teaching. I couldn’t have learned Arabic this much without your help. I still need more practice but I know with your help I can achieve more. You are the best teacher ever…like I said before, I am not exaggerating. I go home and talk to my parents about you and tell them how much you have helped me and care about me. I always thank Allah for giving me a chance to learn Arabic with you. You are very special. Without Mrs. Taj and you I couldn’t have accomplished very much. You guys are the ones that pushed me and gave me strength to learn. May Allah bless you too. I am just so happy and I will never forget you! You are not just a teacher, you are the best friend, parent, example I have in my life. Your kindness and coming to class with a smile always makes me happy…”
